#ThumbsUpForStephen

Dear blog readers,

Today is sadly the funeral in remembrance for Stephen Sutton, an AMAZING 19 year old man who had incurable cancer.

Instead of having a minutes silence at 11am GMT this morning, you can join the celebration of his life by posting a picture of yourself doing a thumbs up on social media and tagging it #ThumbsUpForStephen, or just doing a thumbs up.

7000 people visited Lichfield Cathedral to light a candle and sign a book of condolence last night. The Cathedral is open today from 7am-3pm for the public to do the same. There will be a private ceremony for family and close friends after that time.

Find out more about #ThumbsUpForStephen here, and more about his story and charity events here.

Andy and I have done a #ThumbsUpForStephen-

Let's remember this inspirational modern day saint. He deserves to be in our hearts forever.

You can still donate to help teenage cancer here, the donations have recently reached £4,000,000!

Thanks for reading.

    1. He definitely will! Stephen was such an amazing and an extremely brave person. He was so inspirational and will be missed by so many. I'm glad he will be remembered as the amazing person he was, and that we could do a thumbs up and have a moments silence for him, too. Rest In Peace, Stephen.
